How much should I budget for wedding flowers?
It's hard to find helpful information on planning your wedding blooms. Don't stress. We're here to help.
At the end of the day, the most important thing to keep in mind is that this is your day. As a couple, sit down ahead of time and decide what's most important to you two and how you want to celebrate your love.
As a good rule of thumb, we suggest your floral budget should be at least 10-15% of your overall wedding budget. If you're looking for Pinterest-worthy, abundant designs, you will want to allocate 20-25% of your total wedding budget.
Our custom wedding design service has a minimum investment of $5,000. If you're after our signature Poppy & Fern designs but on a smaller budget, don't stress. Check out our online order process for wedding flowers.
How much should I budget for wedding flowers?
Use the list below as a guide. It is by no means a complete list as every wedding we work on is unique because, like everything flower-related, there are so many ‘what ifs’ and ‘except this’ scenarios.
$2,500 and under
This will account for all your personals (bouquets, flower crowns, buttonholes) as well as allow for some small arrangements to dress the tables at your reception.
$5,000 – $7,000
This budget would provide for personal flowers as well as a feature installation element at the ceremony or the reception. For example, a beautiful archway at your ceremony or a hanging installation at your reception.
$8,000 – $10,000
This price range falls within our typical full service wedding. This budget provides for a set of personals, a ceremony floral feature as well as centrepieces for the reception.
$11,000 – $15,000
With this budget, we typically design the collection of personal flowers, an archway at the ceremony as well as an abundant allocation of flowers for the reception. That is likely a feature head table installation or hanging installation. As well as centrepieces for the guest tables.

Finally, it's worth noting, labour charges for set-up, pack down and delivery can vary dramatically depending on your venue. Every venue has its own rules on when we can set up and when we need to pack down and that has an impact on the investment required.
