An Evening in the Flower Field

Join us for a beautiful summer evening amongst the flowers as we celebrate the festive season with a little creativity, nature and Christmas magic.

Spend two relaxed hours with Jess at the Poppy & Fern flower field, learning the art of creating your very own botanical Christmas wreath using a beautiful combination of fresh and dried seasonal flowers, foliage and botanicals.

We'll begin with a wander through our flower field in the golden afternoon light, where Jess will share her love of growing flowers and sustainable floristry. You'll discover which flowers grow beautifully in our Northern Rivers climate, the best varieties for drying, and some simple tips for growing, harvesting and preserving your own blooms.

Then we'll head back to our beautiful new greenhouse, where you'll be guided through creating your own abundant, foam-free Christmas wreath to take home and enjoy throughout the festive season.

Think beautiful botanicals, a little festive cheer, delicious nibbles and a relaxed afternoon surrounded by flowers.

No experience is necessary. Whether you're a complete beginner or a flower lover looking for a little creative time, this workshop is designed for everyone.

Workshop details

Dates: Tuesday evenings in December (select your preferred date when booking)

Time: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Location: Poppy & Fern Flower Field, The Farm, Byron Bay

Experience: All levels welcome, no previous floristry experience required.

Places are limited to keep the experience intimate and relaxed.

Come on your own, bring a friend or make it a beautiful little Christmas catch-up. We can't wait to welcome you into the flower field!

Booking & cancellation policy

Due to the limited number of places available, all workshop bookings are final and non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

If you're unable to attend, you're very welcome to transfer your place to a friend or family member. Please contact us before the workshop to arrange the name change.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the workshop, you'll be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another available date.
