THE PERFECT INTRODUCTION TO GROWING SUSTAINABLE FLOWERS.
Set up your garden now for a spectacular spring
This two-day winter workshop is all about preparing your cutting garden for the explosion of colour that arrives with spring. June is when we tuck things into the soil, nurture seedlings, and set the foundations for abundant flowering from September onwards.
If you’ve ever wanted that lush spring garden filled with anemones, ranunculus, sweet peas, larkspur, calendula and early-season herbs — this is the ideal timing. Together, we map out your spring palette, sow seeds, and prepare your beds so everything is ready for planting once the weather shifts.
What we cover
-
The best spring-focused flowers to sow in winter
-
Preparing your garden during the cooler months
-
How to warm soil + protect young plants
-
Designing a garden for spring colour and variety
-
Succession strategies for spring-long blooms
-
Seed starting, pricking out + transplanting
-
How to grow for shape, height and stem strength
Why winter matters
A good spring garden starts now. Winter gives plants time to root deeply and be ready to burst into flower the moment the days warm
WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
If you love the idea of creating a cutting garden but aren't sure where to start, this program is for you!
Please expect to get dirty. Wear covered shoes and breathable comfy clothing. Bring along sun protection and a water bottle (it will be hot).
