Would you like to be let loose to cut flowers in our field? Our Open Field sessions take you behind the fence and give you the opportunity to do just that.
We offer morning and sunset sessions please email jess@poppyandfern.com.au to find a session that suits your group.
Meet Jess at the Poppy & Fern shop (in front of Three Blue Ducks Restaurant at The Farm) then you will head straight to the flower field.
Jess will lead you on a tour of the flower farm where you will get an up-close and personal look at what we have been up to, which flowers we have in season and how we grow them.
Being a private group I'm also more than happy to focus on areas that interest the group and can custom the experience just for you.
We can discuss growing seasonal flowers, talk about which blooms are the best for cutting. You'll learn harvesting tips and tricks, how to care for your flowers and how to get the longest vase life. We'll ensure you have plenty of to harvest your own blooms, take photos and enjoy the overall beauty of the field.
You will leave with a beautiful selection of un-arranged seasonal flowers chosen and harvested by yourself, consisting of around 20 stems. Please bring a bucket or jar to keep your flowers happy and hydrated on your trip home.
The session lasts around 1-1.5 hours depending on group size.
The price is for a total of 5 guests. Extras guests can be added at $85 per person. All kids must have their own ticket and be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
